Volunteering to Coach?
Once all registrations are complete, we review the numbers in each age decision and determine the number of teams to be formed and coaches needed. If we need you to coach, we will contact you to let you know you we have assigned you as head coach of a team. We appreciate all our coaching volunteers, and we try to accommodate all requests to coach. We sometimes have more coach volunteers than we need for a particular age group or location, so please keep in mind that checking the box on the player form indicating an interest in coaching and/or submitting a volunteer form does not guarantee you will be assigned a team.
To be considered as a coach, you must turn in:
Two signed copies of the completed AYSO volunteer form. This can be completed by going to www.eayso.org. Please send the forms into t he soccer office ASAP. You cannot be considered as a coach until this form is submitted.
Please Note:
There is no guarantee of coaching the same team from year to year. The only guarantee we can make is that you will coach your child.
Assistant coaches are not assigned to teams. Anyone interested in helping out as an assistant coach should communicate with the head coach at the start of the season. Interested assistant coaches will need to speak with the head coach once teams are formed and players are notified to express their interest in helping out as an assistant coach. Coaches may have up to 2 assistant coaches on the sidelines with them during the game. It is up to the coach to inform the office who will be an assistant(s) for their team.
Coaches must:
- Submit AYSO volunteer forms to the office
- Attend coach meetings & trainings in August 2011 prior to the fall season
- Complete the on-line Safe Haven Training that is required for all coaches
- Complete on-line training that is required for all U6, U7, & U8 coaches.

Volunteers Needed
PCSL would not have the success it has today without volunteers!! Continued success of this great league depends on people joining our volunteer forces. Their are many opportunities to volunteer with PCSL which include as a coach, assistant coach, registration assistance, or as field marshals on match weekends. We can't do it without you!!!!
