WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

Have you ever wondered what happens to the thousands of children that have played soccer in the PCSL? Well, for some, continuing their soccer experiencing at the next level is much more than just a pipe dream, it is a glorious reality.

Three former PCSL standouts, who are now collegiate soccer players, were gracious enough to allow PCSL board member James Rivera to interview them about the sport they all love, life, and much more.

Sarah McCorkle, is a freshman forward at Heartland Community College

Caroline Leighton, is a junior forward at Illinois Wesleyan University

Britney Foland, is a freshmen defender at Heartland Community College

Much thanks goes to Sarah, Caroline, and Britney for their time. Special thanks goes to Heartland Community College Head Women’s Coach, Dave Hutchinson, and Illinois Wesleyan University Head Women’s coach, Dave Barrett, for allowing their student/athletes to take part in this story, and also for their support of the PCSL. Our hope is to develop and send many more PCSL standouts their way in the years to come.
