PCSL is a recreational soccer league for Kindergarten through High School age players.
The League is a member of the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA). PCSL is a not-for-profit organization that relies primarily on volunteers. All of the coaches, Board Members and team helpers are volunteers.
PCSL's philosophy is Everyone Plays.
- Separate divisions for boys & girls at U6 through U12
- Games played on Saturdays at the PCSL Complex, typically between 8am-4pm
- 6 games in Spring
- Practices held during week by a volunteer coach. Each coach sets his/her own practice days, time and location, This will be communicated in August by coach
- Volunteer coaches needed for each team. Please consider coaching your child's team
- Uniforms are required
PCSL forms teams, to the extent possible, based on the location the player lives in. We do not look at specific neighborhoods/addresses, but only the player’s location code. Birth date, gender and location are the primary criteria for assigning players to teams at the beginning of every season. Location involves the residence of players as well as the residence of the closest available volunteer coach. However, For Spring Only placements, we cannot guarantee placement by location. Placing your child on the Spring Only 2021 Wait List, does not guarantee that they will be placed on a team. Spring Only placement is done on a first-come, first-serve basis and is dependent on openings that become available on current teams.
We will contact you regarding any availability prior to the spring season. If your child is placed on a team, we will provide you with instructions to complete registration by submitting payment. The fee for U6-High School spring only is $60. The fee for U5 spring only is $30.
You need to know what your Location Code is BEFORE you begin the on-line registration process. Your Location Code can be found by locating where you live on PCSL's Location Map. Location-based teams tend to be reasonably balanced by skill, make efficient use of available practice fields throughout McLean County, and keep commuting distances at a minimum for most families. The League continues to refer to school as a secondary consideration when possible. Be aware that PCSL does not assign players based on last year's team, car pooling arrangements, coach preferences, scheduling conflicts and other individual requests. Please do not make these requests when registering.

*The IYSA Emergency Medical Release and Liability Waiver and the Communicable Disease Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement is required in order for your child to participate in practices and games. You must download and complete the waivers (below) and submit 2 signed copies of the IYSA Emergency Medical Release & Liability Waiver and 1 copy of the Communicable Disease Agreement by mail, fax, or email to the PCSL office immediately upon completion of this registration.

Uniforms -- PCSL is phasing out the cotton PCSL uniform t-shirt and moving to a new moisture management shirt. This new uniform shirt is not required, as the cotton PCSL t-shirt will always be an acceptable uniform shirt, but we wanted to make you aware that moving forward, this will be the shirt for purchase at Read's Sporting Goods. The cost of a new moisture management shirt is $9.00. The average cost of the 2 shirts (blue & gold), blue shorts, 2 socks (blue & gold) and basic shin guards is $45.
